Welcome Parents and Students,

It is difficult to believe but it is time for another wonderful school year to begin.  I hope you’ve had a refreshing and relaxing break. Our teachers and staff members have been working hard to plan engaging lessons and hands-on activities.  We look forward to this year’s  District Accreditation process to help ensure that Forest Heights is providing a quality educational environment for all students.

Forest Heights will continue to implement Lifeskills and Lifelong Guidelines throughout the curriculum.   We will focus upon the Lifeskill of “Courage” throughout the 2009-2010 school year. As the author Bernard Waber states -There are many kinds of courage. Awesome kinds. And everyday kinds. Still, courage is courage-whatever kind.

It is important that our students are encouraged to work as hard as they can and do the best that they can in every situation.

We will continue to “Do our personal best every day, every way” as we work together to make a great 2009-2010 school-year.
