Principal's Corner
Welcome Parents and Students,
I hope you’ve had a refreshing and relaxing break. It is time to begin a fantastic 2011-2012 school year. Our teachers and staff have been working diligently to plan engaging lessons. We will continue to have students work on projects this school year as we received some incredible student work in response to the projects. Information regarding the hands-on projects/activities for each nine weeks will be distributed.
It is my hope that every family took advantage of the books that were sent home at the end of last school year. The books and corresponding activities were an opportunity for students to continue reading throughout the break. The District’s Literacy Focus will be continued but we will work hard to make sure that our math, science and social studies knowledge are up to par as well.
It is important that our students are encouraged to work as hard as they can in every situation. Parents, please continue to praise your children for working hard and helping them to see benefit of perseverance. It is important that we collaborate to ensure that all of our students are working to exceed the state educational standards. We will continue to “Do our Personal Best every day, every way”.
---Dr. Frank Robinson
